Mud & Dirt (MTB) by Rob Scorchin’ Schorr
Well I heard that the Ride-n-Camp was a success with no rain and fun had by all. I was away so missed out on all the fun.
For the scheduled Batu Dam ride last Sunday, I must send out apologies on behalf of our Teres. He’d helpfully offered to lead the ride in my absence, but was down with the flu come last Sunday. Without any regular riders around to call and stand-in, there may have been a few lost souls. Hope your ride was not spoilt.
Now, with KLMBH doing their monthly ride in Broga, it might not have been a good idea for us to also do the ride there. Last time they had 108 riders, so confusion and fights over parking spaces may ensue!
So, we will postpone Broga to next weekend and do the good ol’ Kiara.
Sunday MTB Ride – Kiara.
Date: Sunday 26 February 2006
Ride venue: Kiara
Time: 7:30am
Meeting/Starting place: Devi’s Corner, Desa Sri Hartamas
Ride distance: 12-15km depending on loops taken
Ride description: Mostly singletracks, some rather technical and hilly. So come prepared for hike-a-bike sections. Ride distance will depend on loops taken but should not exceed 12-18km. But distance don’t count at Kiara. Not recommended for first-timers.

hi,
some info/tips for beginners would be good cos im interested to join pcc but dont even know where a bike shop is, what to wear, what to do/not to do etc
